History
The Grange itself is a lovely grade II listed building, part of which is thought to date back to the 11th Century. From Tudor to Georgian times the house has been extended and a number of distinguished men and women have lived within its walls. It is renowned that Queen Elizabeth I slept here.
Recently, the house has been lovingly restored by the present owner to provide a charming country house set in tranquil gardens. The Grange Courtyard cottages have been converted from former agricultural buildings attached to The Grange.
